Latest reviews of RunHelper Plus - GPS Tracker for Runners with Time, Distance, Run / Walk, and Calories Burned workouts app for iPhone and iPad
I like this app a lot. A previous user of the developers Ease Into 5K app, I found switching to this app a breeze. The interface is very similar. It has the ability to track a distance run (you put in the distance, it lets you know at preset intervals how close to done you are), a timed run (you put in the time), a timed run/walk interval program, or a distance run/walk interval program, all very flexible and customizable. You can also even do a calorie run - it tells you when youve burned your preset # of calories. It tracks your total distance run, #calories, average pace over all of your runs, and it also has a built-in running journal with all of your stats. It plays your own music which you can pause independently of the run tracker. Really, the only thing I wish it had was the ability to turn GPS off when Im using it on a treadmill, but - I can live with it the way it is. It will sync with your RunHelper account, and all of your running data is there, and you can export it to a spreadsheet. Very smooth.
Its an OK app. I wish you had the option to change Pace for mph (both current speed and average). In used to using mph. This makes it a deal breaker for me.
It helps me set new goals.
I started with the Ease Into 5K app, then moved up to the Bridge to 10K app and really liked them both. I never knew I had it in me to run~and enjoy running~ until I used those apps so successfully. I decided to purchase the RunHelper Plus (instead of just using the distance run feature on the previous apps) because I love the new options in this app! First, being able to choose whether you want to include/record the warm up/cool down part of your workout is awesome because you can get a true pace per mile without the walk portion averaged in to your run pace. Yeah! I also like the ability to choose if I want to run by distance, time, interval. As I progress in my running and training I needed more flexibility to track intervals, etc. I love everything about this app. Thank you for creating such an awesome running tool!
Not too happy, I would like refund of half.
